How the calculation works
Estimated spraying hours = hectares ÷ working capacity. This remains a planning estimate and does not calculate generator petrol or reserves.
Each generator's petrol = its entered hour-meter hours × its litres/hour × petrol price. The two DJI generator reserves use their own hours × replacement cost ÷ expected lifetime hours. The small generator has petrol only; its reserve stays under Equipment reserve.
Battery reserve = hectares ÷ 2.5 Ha per cycle × replacement battery price ÷ battery lifespan. This uses your saved Area per battery cycle setting and allocates fractional wear across jobs.
Equipment reserve = hectares × replacement value ÷ lifetime hectares. Enter the combined value of equipment you want to replace, excluding batteries to avoid counting them twice.
Business profit = revenue − salary − operating costs − replacement reserves. This is before tax and is not a cash-flow or loan-repayment calculation. Break-even includes your salary. Travel uses total return kilometres.
